Scope of Work :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior MongoDB Developer and Data Modeler to provide expert advisory support for a client transitioning their application backend to MongoDB. The ideal candidate will evaluate the suitability of MongoDB for the clients use case, guide optimal data modeling and architecture approaches, and advise on hybrid or alternative solutions (e.g., MongoDB + Snowflake).

Key Responsibilities :

• Assess whether MongoDB is the right fit for the clients specific requirements.
• Design and implement optimal data models and architectures for MongoDB.
• Challenge and validate architectural decisions to ensure scalability and performance.
• Advise on hybrid database architectures, such as integrating MongoDB with Snowflake or other relational databases.
• Provide expertise on NoSQL vs. RDBMS trade-offs and best practices.
• Collaborate with the client in a consulting / advisory capacity to deliver actionable recommendations.
• Leverage large-scale data modeling experience, particularly in manufacturing or supply chain domains (e.g., Bill of Materials (BOM) data).
