Job Purpose
To focuses on an Oracle EBS R12 specialist with expertise in Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) and Production Scheduling, including configuration, implementation, and support within the manufacturing context. This role will require strong functional knowledge of Oracle ASCP, Production Scheduling, and related manufacturing modules like Inventory, WIP, and BOM.
Key Responsibilities :
ASCP Implementation and Configuration :
Design, configure, and deploy Oracle ASCP applications within the Oracle e-Business Suite (EBS) environment. Understanding and Implementing Planning Processes.
Business Requirements Gathering, Training, Problem Solving, Documentation, Optimization and Client Engagement.
Planning and Process Management :
Understanding and Implementing Planning Processes
Modelling the Supply Chain
Plan Creation and Management
Constraint Planning
What-if Analysis
Exception Handling
Functional Areas and System Configuration :
Demand Planning
Supply Planning
Capacity Planning
Inventory Management
Distribution Planning
System Configuration
Integration and Data Management
Production Scheduling :
Manage and optimize production schedules, ensuring timely fulfilment of orders and efficient operations.
Key Roles and Responsibilities :
Creating and maintaining the production schedule
Optimizing resource utilization
Material planning
Balancing conflicting objectives
Monitoring inventory levels
Coordinating with production teams
Identifying and mitigating potential scheduling conflicts
Data analysis
Improving delivery performance

Maximizing throughput
Data Management :
Lead and manage Oracle data conversion activities and migration from legacy systems to Oracle EBS.
Functional Expertise :
Possess strong functional knowledge of Oracle ASCP, Production Scheduling, Inventory, Work in Progress (WIP), Bill of Materials (BOM), and other related modules.
Project Support :
Participate in project planning, implementation, user acceptance testing, and post-implementation support activities.
Troubleshooting and Problem Solving :
Resolve functional issues, troubleshoot problems, and provide guidance on Oracle best practices.
Continuous Improvement :
Stay updated with the latest Oracle product releases and features, contributing to ongoing process improvement.
