Beecorp Consulting has been mandated by a large Tamil Nadu based Textile Group to search and place highly experienced Marketing & Sales professional to align with the organization from the drawing board stage to launch and carry forward the business in a very competitive environment in the industry of Innerwear / Casualwear. The category being launched is backed by well reputed Textile Group on their Overview :
The Head of Marketing & Sales will be a strategic leader responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales, distribution, and retail strategies from inception to execution. This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, strong channel management expertise, and the ability to drive aggressive market penetration through both direct and indirect sales models.
Key Development & Strategy :
- Develop and implement robust go-to-market strategies to achieve rapid business growth.
- Build the brand presence from the drawing board stage, ensuring consistency across all customer touchpoints.
- Identify and evaluate new markets, distribution opportunities, and retail expansion Distribution Management :
- Establish and nurture long-term relationships with distributors, channel partners, and stockiests.
- Define distributor agreements, performance benchmarks, and incentive structures.
- Monitor distributor performance to ensure product availability, visibility, and timely Operations Management :
- Set up and oversee modern and traditional retail operations in key geographies.
- Drive sales performance through innovative merchandising, promotions, and in-store visibility.
- Develop standard operating procedures for retail operations to ensure efficiency and customer Force Leadership :
- Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing sales team with clear KPIs and aggressive targets.
- Implement structured sales monitoring, reporting, and performance review mechanisms.
- Motivate and mentor the sales force to maximize productivity and territory & Brand Development :
- Create impactful marketing campaigns and promotional activities aligned with business objectives.
- Manage pricing, positioning, and promotional strategies to ensure competitive advantage.
- Leverage digital and on-ground channels to enhance customer reach and & Compliance :
- Achieve sales targets and market share goals consistently.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, statutory norms, and ethical business practices.
- Provide regular MIS, forecasting, and market intelligence reports to Skills & Competencies
- Proven expertise in channel sales, retail operations, and distributor management.
- Strong leadership and people management skills to build and drive large sales teams.
- Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Data-driven decision-making ability with sharp market & Experience :
- MBA / PGDM in Marketing or Business Management preferred.
- 1218 years of progressive experience in Sales, Distribution, and Retail in Textiles, Apparels , Garments Industry. Highly preferred from Innerwear / Casualwear / Loungewear / Lingerie products.
