Description : About the role :
As an MIS Reporting Analyst, you will leverage your expertise in SQL, Tableau, and Excel to extract, analyze, and present data that supports operational and strategic decisions. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a data-driven environment and contribute directly to the performance of the Disputes team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Pull, extract, and aggregate data from multiple sources relevant to credit card disputes.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance reports and dashboards in Tableau and Excel for monitoring key performance indicators.
- Generate actionable insights for the Disputes leadership team, including agent success rates, operational performance, and controls effectiveness.
- Analyze chargeback data and ensure compliance with Mastercard network guidelines and dispute procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Assist in ad-hoc data analysis and reporting requests to support strategic initiatives.
- Identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvements in dispute resolution reporting.
Required Qualifications & Experience :
37 years of experience as an MIS Analyst, Reporting Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.Strong knowledge of credit card disputes, Mastercard network guidelines, and chargeback procedures.Proficiency in SQL for querying large datasets and generating insights.Expertise in Tableau for dashboard creation and reporting visualization.Advanced skills in Excel for data analysis, reporting, and automation.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Excellent communication skills to present insights to leadership and stakeholders.Preferred / Pluses :
Experience with Python for data analysis or automation.Previous experience working in banking or financial services, particularly in credit card disputes.Familiarity with data governance, compliance, or audit processes related to dispute reporting.(ref : hirist.tech)
