Primary Responsibilities

• Lead and support should-cost modeling across key commodity categories : plastics, metals, electronics, and assemblies.
• Develop parametric cost models using tools like aPriori, integrating inputs from BOMs, 3D models, and supplier data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Procurement, Finance) to validate cost inputs and influence sourcing decisions.
• Provide cost transparency and benchmarking insights to support negotiations and design-to-cost initiatives.
• Maintain cost databases and documentation to ensure consistency across global programs.
