Job Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior US Accountant to manage the end-to-end accounting processes for our US clients. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of US GAAP, excellent analytical skills, and hands-on experience in month-end close, financial reporting, and reconciliations. This role requires strong communication and client-facing abilities to effectively support stakeholders across geographies.

Key Responsibilities :

• Handle end-to-end accounting for US-based entities / clients, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and trial balance finalization.
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals, prepayments, and fixed asset accounting.
• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.
• Conduct variance analysis and prepare flux reports.
• Manage reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, intercompany balances, and other key accounts.
• Assist with audit preparations and provide necessary schedules and documentation to auditors.
• Support tax teams with data for tax filings, 1099s, and other compliance requirements.
• Maintain documentation for internal controls and support SOX compliance (if applicable).
• Communicate directly with US-based clients / stakeholders and respond to queries promptly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including FP&A, AR / AP, and Payroll.
