Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Secondary English Teacher to deliver engaging lessons in line with the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum. The teacher will be responsible for developing students' language proficiency, critical thinking, literary appreciation, and communication skills, while fostering a love for English language and literature.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured lessons as per the IGCSE English curriculum.
Teach English Language and Literature effectively to students of Grades 6–10.
Use innovative teaching methodologies, technology, and interactive resources to engage learners.
Prepare students for internal assessments, board examinations, debates, presentations, and creative writing activities.
Assess, record, and report on students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
Foster an environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills.
Create a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Collaborate with colleagues for curriculum planning, extracurricular activities, and school events.
Communicate regularly with parents on student progress and areas of improvement.

Requirements

Bachelor's / Master's Degree in English (mandatory).

B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.

Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in secondary grades (IGCSE / International curriculum preferred).

Excellent command of spoken and written English.

Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills.

Ability to inspire, motivate, and connect with students.
