Job description

Key Responsibilities

ETL Design & Development

Design, develop, and implement ETL pipelines using tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, DataStage, or similar
Build robust and scalable data extraction, transformation, and loading workflows from various sources to target systems
Optimize data processing workflows for performance and scalability

Data Integration & Warehousing

Work with relational and non-relational data sources to build integrated data warehouses or data marts

Implement data models to support reporting and analytics use cases

Ensure consistency and accuracy in data across systems

Collaboration & Requirements Gathering

Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand data requirements

Translate business needs into technical specifications for ETL implementation

Monitoring & Maintenance

Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes to ensure smooth operation

Conduct root cause analysis of data quality issues and recommend fixes

Maintain documentation for ETL design, processes, and data mappings

Data Quality & Governance

Implement validation, cleansing, and transformation rules to ensure data quality

Work closely with data governance teams to align with compliance and security standards

Required Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

4 to 9 years of hands-on experience in ETL development and data integration

Proven experience with ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, SSIS, DataStage, etc.)

Strong SQL and database development skills (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.)

Experience with cloud-based ETL / data integration tools (AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, GCP Dataflow) is a plus

Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and tools (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.)
