Job Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Safety Steward to support our site safety operations in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all safety standards, assist in implementing safety policies, and promote a safe working environment for all employees and contractors.
Key Responsibilities :
- Monitor day-to-day site activities to ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies.
- Conduct routine safety inspections, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
- Assist in the identification and mitigation of potential hazards and unsafe practices.
- Support the Safety Officer / Manager in maintaining safety documentation and records.
- Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) by all site personnel.
- Report and assist in investigating accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
- Help implement emergency preparedness and response plans.
- Promote safety awareness among workers through training and on-site communication.
