Technical Team Leader – Mechanical

We are seeking an experienced and technically competent Technical Team Leader – Mechanical to lead the mechanical system design and engineering for complex HVAC projects. The ideal candidate should have 10–12 years of relevant experience, with a strong background in HVAC / MEP design, project coordination, and team leadership. The role involves cross-functional coordination, system optimization, and ensuring project success from design to commissioning.

key Responsibility :

• Lead basic and detailed mechanical design for HVAC systems in MEP projects.
• Prepare P&IDs, equipment datasheets, and detailed BOQs.
• Review and guide piping and ducting layouts to ensure compliance with design standards.
• Perform heat load calculations, select equipment, and define system specifications.
• Coordinate with vendors, consultants, clients, and internal teams for seamless execution.
• Support project sites with technical troubleshooting, commissioning, and handover.
• Generate purchase requisitions and manage BOQ variations based on site changes.
• Visit project sites for design reviews, meetings, and approvals as needed.
• Guide and train junior engineers to improve technical knowledge and design quality.
• Actively participate in process improvement and design standardization initiatives.
