SAP MM Consultant

Role : SAP Materials Management (MM) Consultant

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Materials Management (MM) Consultant with over 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP MM implementation, configuration, and support. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, integration with other SAP modules, and the ability to lead end-to-end SAP MM projects.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and manage SAP MM module implementations, rollouts, and support projects.

Gather and analyze business requirements; design and configure MM solutions to meet client needs.

Configure key MM components including Procurement, Inventory Management, Purchasing, Vendor Evaluation, Pricing, and Material Master Data.

Integrate SAP MM with other modules such as FI / CO, SD, PP, and WM.

Define and document business processes and functional specifications.

Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvements.

Troubleshoot complex SAP MM issues and coordinate with ABAP teams for custom developments.

Support SAP S / 4HANA migration or greenfield implementation projects (if applicable).

Conduct training and knowledge transfer sessions for end-users and junior consultants.

Technical Skills Required :

Strong hands-on experience in SAP MM configuration and support.

In-depth understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle.

Experience with Automatic Account Determination, Release Strategies, Pricing Procedures, and Batch Management.

Good exposure to Third-Party Procurement, Subcontracting, and Consignment Processes.

Knowledge of S / 4HANA MM, Fiori Apps, and Business Partner concepts preferred.

Experience in integration with SAP FI, SD, PP, and WM / EWM modules.

Basic understanding of ABAP debugging and enhancement frameworks is an advantage.

Educational Qualification :

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

SAP MM Certification is a plus.
