Job description

Skill : SAP PI / PO Consultant

Location : Bangalore / Hyderabad / Chennai

Experience Range : 6 to 10 years

Must Have Skills :

  • Strong hands-on in SAP PI / PO AEX : design and configuration in ESR / Integration Directory, ICOs, channels, adapter modules, runtime workbench / PI monitoring (message monitor, channel monitor), and end-to-end troubleshooting.
  • Expertise in interfaces and adapters : IDoc / ALE, RFC, SOAP / REST, File / FTP / SFTP, JDBC, JMS, HTTP, AS2; ability to design secure interfaces with certificates, OAuth / basic auth, proxies, and load balancers.
  • Mapping and development : graphical mappings, XSLT, Java mappings, UDFs; error handling, persistency, and reprocessing; BPM / BPMN for orchestration and correlation.
  • Operations and performance : queue / thread tuning, cache refresh, channel tuning, EO / EOIO design, large message handling, archiving / housekeeping, alerting (ALRTCATDEF / PI Alerting), and RCA.
  • Security / compliance and transport : STRUST / keystores, TLS mutual auth, SSO / SNC basics, CTS+ / ChaRM transport governance, audits, and documentation.

Good to Have Skills :

  • SAP CPI (Cloud Integration) exposure : iflows, OData / SF / Ariba / SuccessFactors adapters, certificates, and migration from PI / PO to CPI.
  • Integration patterns and APIs : event-driven integration with JMS / Kafka gateways, API management, rate limiting, and caching.
  • S / 4HANA and ECC integration know-how : IDoc extensions, proxy generation (ABAP / ESR), and OData / RFC performance tuning.
  • DevOps / Cloud : deployments on AWS / Azure / GCP, containerization of PO (where applicable), automation via Ansible / Groovy / Shell, monitoring with SolMan / Focused Run / ELK / Splunk, Git-based versioning for mappings / artifacts.
  • Compliance / localizations : knowledge of e-invoicing / e-way bill connectors and digital certificate lifecycle; Portuguese / Spanish language is a plus.
  • Certifications : SAP Certified Development Associate – Process Integration / Orchestration; cloud provider certs.
