About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Operations to lead end-to-end operations for a luxury catering business in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate must come from a luxury hotel banquets background or a premium catering company , have deep insight into the Hyderabad wedding market , and possess strong connections with wedding planners, premium venues, and event agencies .

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end operations for luxury catering events, including weddings, social gatherings, and corporate functions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Hyderabad wedding planners , venue partners, decorators, and event agencies.
  • Oversee planning, production, logistics, manpower deployment, and on-ground execution for all events.
  • Ensure the highest standards of food quality, service excellence, and client satisfaction.
  • Manage and train large teams across kitchen, service, logistics, and execution departments.
  • Develop and implement operational SOPs to enhance efficiency.
  • Handle cost control, vendor management, inventory, and resource planning.
  • Conduct site inspections, client meetings, menu tastings, and pre-event checks.
  • Coordinate with sales and culinary teams for successful event execution.
  • Travel as required for destination events and multi-city operations.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 10–20 years of experience in operations within luxury hotels (banquets), premium catering companies, or large-scale wedding / event operations .
  • Must be currently based in Hyderabad with strong knowledge of the local wedding ecosystem.
  • Strong network with wedding planners, event agencies, and high-end venues in Hyderabad.
  • Demonstrated experience handling large, premium weddings and social events.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Open to extensive travel for events.
