SAP ABAP Consultant

Description

• Design, develop, and implement custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms (RICEF).
• Build and optimize CDS Views for analytical and transactional use cases.
• Develop and expose OData services for SAP Fiori applications.
• Work with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Debug and troubleshoot performance issues in ABAP and HANA environments.
• Participate in full lifecycle S / 4HANA implementation and support projects.
• Ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integration with other SAP modules and external systems.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP on HANA / S / 4HANA.
• Expertise in CDS Views, AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures), and Open SQL enhancements.
• Proficiency in OData service creation and consumption for SAP Fiori / UI5 applications.
• Experience with Enhancement Frameworks (BADI, User Exits, Enhancements, BTEs).
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented ABAP and performance tuning techniques.
• Familiarity with SAP Gateway, Eclipse / ADT, and transport management.
• Good understanding of Fiori architecture and REST APIs is a plus.
• Experience in S / 4HANA implementation or migration projects.
• SAP ABAP on HANA / S / 4HANA preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Team player with proactive attitude and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Maintain clear technical documentation for developments and configurations.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior ABAP developers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system integration and performance issues.
• Deep understanding of CDS Views, AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures), and Open SQL enhancements.
