Core duties and responsibilities

Manage production : Oversee daily production activities, ensure production targets are met, and coordinate the workflow.

Supervise staff : Direct and coordinate production workers, delegate tasks, conduct performance reviews, and provide coaching or training.

Ensure quality and safety : Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards, and enforce company and government regulations.

Problem-solve : Identify and troubleshoot production issues, such as equipment malfunctions, to minimize downtime.

Maintain equipment : Ensure equipment is functioning correctly by scheduling repairs and maintenance.

Manage resources : Oversee inventory levels, ensure materials are flowing, and contribute to cost-reduction strategies.
