SAP Delivery Lead – FICO (Chartered Accountant)

Role Summary :

We are seeking a seasoned SAP Delivery Lead with deep expertise in the FICO module, preferably with a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification. The ideal candidate will have 20+ years of experience, including multiple full-cycle SAP S / 4HANA implementations, and a proven track record of leading large-scale transformation programs in complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead end-to-end delivery of SAP S / 4HANA programs focused on FICO.

Own the delivery lifecycle : planning, execution, cutover, and post-go-live support.

Drive solution architecture and design in the Finance domain.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, SAP functional / technical teams, and system integrators.

Ensure alignment between business goals and IT delivery.

Manage cross-functional teams (onshore / offshore), ensuring timely delivery and quality assurance.

Mentor junior consultants and foster a high-performance culture.

Ensure adherence to regulatory and audit requirements in financial processes.

Oversee risk mitigation and delivery governance.

Provide thought leadership on SAP innovations and finance transformation.

Stay updated on SAP trends and best practices.

Required Qualifications :

Education :

Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory.

Additional qualifications like CMA or MBA (Finance) are a plus.

Experience :

Minimum 15 years in SAP, with deep domain knowledge in FICO.

At least 3 full-cycle S / 4HANA implementations in a Delivery / Program Lead role.

SAP implementation for Pharma industry is preferred.

Experience with BlackLine AR / AP automation is desirable.

Experience in Treasury and BPC modules is an added advantage.

Technical Expertise :

Strong command over SAP FICO modules : GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling.

Integration experience with other logistics modules.

Integration experience with Banks and regulatory reporting systems.

Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project methodologies.

Certifications :

SAP FICO certification preferred.

PMP certification is a plus.
