Role Description

This is a contract (renewable) on-site role for a Consultant - Data Modeler to be based in Saudi Arabia for one of our esteemed overseas clients. But if the candidate joins in India, then it may be converted into a fulltime permanent position.

The incumbent is expected to design and implement enterprise data models including conceptual, logical, and physical models for the Unified Data Model (UDM), ensuring alignment with business requirements and CDE definitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and extension of the Unified Data Model to accommodate 200 CDEs
  • Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models using Erwin or similar tools
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and definitions
  • Work with ETL developers to ensure proper implementation of data models
  • Establish and enforce data modeling standards and naming conventions
  • Maintain data dictionary and metadata repository in Informatica EDC / Axon
  • Optimize data models for performance and scalability in Cloudera environment
  • Conduct data model reviews with technical and business teams
  • Map source system data structures to target UDM specifications
  • Implement data model version control and change management processes

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Management
  • 7+ years of data modeling experience in financial services industry
  • Expertise in data modeling tools (Erwin, ER / Studio, or similar)
  • Strong knowledge of data warehouse design methodologies (Kimball, Inmon)
  • Experience with Big Data platforms and NoSQL databases
  • Understanding of banking data domains (customer, accounts, transactions, risk)

  • CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional)
  • Data Vault 2.0 Certification
  • TDWI Data Modeling Certification
