HOD - Radiology

We are looking for a highly experienced and dynamic Head of Department – Radiology to lead our Radiology department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the department, overseeing radiology services, ensuring high standards of patient care, and leading a team of radiologists and technicians. You will play a key role in shaping the department's strategies, clinical practices, and educational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Radiology department
• Supervise and mentor a team of radiologists, technicians, and support staff
• Ensure the department adheres to clinical guidelines, protocols, and safety standards
• Develop and implement policies for effective radiology services
• Provide expertise in advanced diagnostic imaging techniques, including MRI, CT scans, X-rays, ultrasound, and other modalities
• Lead the implementation of new technology and radiology systems
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Monitor departmental performance, review cases, and ensure high-quality diagnostics
• Participate in departmental budgets, staffing decisions, and resource management
• Foster an environment of continuous learning and professional development for staff
• Act as a liaison between the Radiology department and hospital administration
