Ideolux designs, engineers and produces high-quality LED Lighting. Our project-grade products, systems and services comply with international quality & safety requirements

We are seeking a results-driven and strategic Business Development Team Leader with a strong background in lighting solutions and a proven track record of working with architects, consultants, lighting designers, developers, and government bodies. This role will play a key part in building Ideolux's presence in India by developing new business opportunities, managing key relationships, and promoting our portfolio of international lighting brands.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute Ideolux's business development strategy in India, aligned with overall company goals.
  • Identify and cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders : architects, lighting consultants, developers, interior designers, government utilities, and distribution partners.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Ideolux by promoting our product range to decision-makers and influencers.
  • Lead the market entry process for new products and initiatives, identifying opportunities across verticals including residential, hospitality, infrastructure, and commercial sectors.
  • Represent Ideolux in industry events, exhibitions, and professional networks to enhance brand visibility.
  • Collaborate with the internal technical, design, and supply teams to provide project-specific support and proposals.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes relevant to the Indian lighting market.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or related field) is mandatory; MBA or Post-Graduate in Business Management is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of hands-on experience in sales or business development in the lighting industry.
  • Strong existing network within India's architecture, consultancy, construction, and lighting communities.
  • Experience promoting international lighting brands is a major advantage.
  • Knowledge of government procurement processes and experience dealing with government utilities is a plus.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in English and any regional Indian language(s).

    Monday to Friday 9 : 00am - 6 : 30pm

    Saturday 9 : 30am - 12 : 30pm

    Sunday Off

    Total Working Hours 48 hours
