Focus : OpenShift Virtualization Platform Management & VMware Migration

We are seeking highly skilled OpenShift Virtualization experts for a strategic client project to modernize infrastructure by migrating from legacy VMware to a robust Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization platform.

Role Summary

As a key consultant, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of a large-scale OpenShift environment. A core objective is leading the seamless migration of virtual machines (VMs) from VMware to OpenShift Virtualization.

Key Responsibilities

• Platform Management : Install, configure, automate, and maintain our production Red Hat OpenShift platform with the OpenShift Virtualization operator.
• VM Migration : Lead the migration of virtual servers from VMware vSphere to OpenShift Virtualization using tools like virt-v2v.
• Performance & Optimization : Monitor platform health, performance, and capacity; perform tuning for virtualized workloads.
• Troubleshooting : Serve as an escalation point for complex issues related to OpenShift Virtualization, KubeVirt, networking, and storage.
• Automation : Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible, Terraform, or Golang (Infrastructure as Code).
