About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Software Development Engineer in Testing (SDET) with strong expertise in Automation, Playwright, JavaScript, and TypeScript. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks, ensuring high-quality software releases across our development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using Playwright.

Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to define test strategies and ensure quality throughout the SDLC.

Build and maintain test frameworks and infrastructure using JavaScript / TypeScript.

Develop automated tests for web applications (UI, API, functional, regression).

Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to automation best practices.

Implement CI / CD-based automated test execution pipelines.

Analyze test results, identify defects, and track issues to closure.

Enhance test coverage and optimize automation performance.

Collaborate in Agile / Scrum teams, contributing to planning, estimation, and continuous improvement.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

2–4 years hands-on experience as SDET / Automation Engineer.

Strong expertise in Automation Testing and building test frameworks.

Proficient in Playwright (mandatory).

Solid programming skills in JavaScript and TypeScript.

Experience testing web applications, including UI and API automation.

Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

Good understanding of software testing principles, best practices, and SDLC methodologies.

Experience with version control (Git) and modern development workflows.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
