Education

Responsibilities
Design and develop control systems for machines.Select and configure appropriate hardware and software components for control systems.Develop and implement vision systems to perform tasks such as inspection, quality control, and object recognition.Configure cameras, sensors, and image processing software for optimal performance.Program and maintain robotic systems for automation, including robot arm control, path planning, and end-effector tooling.Develop and modify robot programs for specific tasks and applications.Conduct machine commissioning activities, ensuring that control systems, vision systems, and robotics are properly integrated and functioning as intended.Perform testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to identify and resolve issues.Write and maintain control software, HMI (Human-Machine Interface) applications.Implement safety protocols and interlocks to ensure safe machine operation.Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and user manuals.Provide training and support to operators and maintenance personnel.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and project managers.Ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.Respond to and resolve automation system issues and breakdowns.Implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to vision systems and robotics programming.Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation advancements.
