Senior L&D consultant, Global Learning
role overview
As a learning Specialist on the global learning and development team, your role is focused on ensuring the facilitation and delivery of key learning programs into our business, that support our people in developing skill sets required to become a future-ready workforce.
Working as part of the global team, you will be responsible for leading and / or supporting a number of our key programs globally, ensuring the end-to-end experience meets our global standards, and that we meet the demands of the business in terms of program availability across all our regions. You will support stakeholders to navigate our global programs, providing guidance on program suitability, timing & scheduling. You will lead by example creating a positive experience for our learners whilst encouraging leaders and managers to actively support a culture of everyday learning within their teams
In addition, as part of the global team you will participate and contribute to regional and global L&D projects that support the function in achieving the business’ short and mid-term strategic goals, taking guidance and direction from senior functional leads.
The role reports directly into the specified Manager or Director . However, as part of a global team, you will be required to work within a matrixed structure, navigating dotted-line reporting based on the allocated programs that you lead and / or support. These dotted reporting lines will allocate tasks and assignments that you are responsible for delivering as part of your program responsibilities.
priorities for the role include
- Working collaboratively with the global learning team, understand the strategic learning strategy and the role you play in contributing to it.
- Lead and / or support on identified global programs, collaborating with the facilitation team inline with SOP.
- For identified programs, ensure that participant certification standards are adhered to, ensuring consistent, timely and fair marking of program certification requirements (inline with SOPs)
- Partner with the Learning Coordinator inline with SOP for program coordination (This including scheduling, tracking participation & certification rates, and marketing for your programs)
- Facilitate identified programs, creating an engaging learning environment, and confidently navigating varying regional needs from learners.
- Support and / or lead in program improvements; reviewing content, design and delivery to stay relevant to current business needs and updated learning theory.
- Work in close collaboration with operational managers and other relevant stakeholders to encourage a culture of everyday learning within their teams
- Respond to learning requests, providing direction to stakeholders to suitable and available learning solutions
- Lead and / or support in projects that support the continuous improvement of our learning ecosystem, working at a regional and / or global level
- Continuously develops-self, leveraging emerging L&D trends, theories and concepts for increased impact.

Owns and drives assigned global programs in line with SOPs , managing program resources including allocating tasks and overseeing output of peers in a matrixed environment.Creates and shares regular ROI / ROE reporting for owned programs including recommendations for continued improvements.Takes a global approach to program adjustments and delivery, supporting collaboration and input from relevant teams, departments and leadership.Engages with stakeholders, taking ownership for queries and issues relating to assigned programs, seeing these through to satisfactory resolution.Works autonomously, is able to manage job and programs with minimal support (making informed decisions and demonstrating good judgement).
