We're Building the Future of Filmmaking (And We Need You)
Our Story Remember when Photoshop democratized graphic design? When Final Cut Pro put editing studios on laptops? When Instagram turned everyone into a photographer?
We're doing the same for filmmaking!!!!
Not by giving people better cameras. By giving them an AI film studio that thinks like a director, works like a crew, and ships like software.
What We've Already Built We've shipped real commercials for global brands -
Films that look like $200K traditional shoots, made in days for a fraction of the cost.
Here's the problem : Our process works, but it's held together by human orchestration.
One filmmaker manually coordinates Runway, Midjourney, Magnific, Photoshop — like conducting an orchestra where every musician speaks a different language.
We've proven AI filmmaking can be cinematic.
Now we're building the operating system that makes it scalable.
What Makes This Different This Isn't Another SaaS Tool We're not building project management software or a CRM.
We're building a creative instrument — something filmmakers will use to make art.
Every line of code you write will show up in actual films.
Every optimization you make will help a brand tell their story.
Every bug you fix will unlock someone's creative vision.
You'll Work With Filmmakers, Not Just Engineers Our team includes people who've shot commercials, directed productions, and understand cinematography. You're not building to specs written by product managers who've never used the product.
You're building shoulder-to-shoulder with the users.
The Tech Stack Is Genuinely Interesting Generative AI APIs (Runway, Veo, Kling) at production scale
Real-time image processing and video generation
Computer vision for consistency checking
Semantic understanding of creative feedback
A "prompt memory" system that learns from every project
This isn't CRUD. This is AI at the bleeding edge.
Your Work Will Compound Every frame you help generate trains the system.
Every feedback loop you build makes the next film better.
You're not shipping features. You're building a brain that gets smarter.
What You'll Build The interface where filmmakers bring stories to life.
You'll design and build :
Project workspace : Clean, intuitive filmmaker dashboard
Upload system : Drag-and-drop for Look & Feel images + shot breakdown CSVs
Generation interface : Real-time progress tracking (like a render queue)
Review grid : 30-frame storyboard with zoom, annotations, quality indicators
Feedback tools : Per-frame notes that trigger smart regeneration
Prompt memory browser : Search and reuse past successful prompts
This isn't just wiring up APIs. You're crafting the UX that makes AI filmmaking feel natural.
You're Probably a Fit If You : Have 2+ years building React applications that real users depend on
Can make UX decisions independently (you don't wait for pixel-perfect mocks)
Have built real-time interfaces (progress bars, live updates, async state)
Have strong opinions about UI details (spacing, transitions, loading states matter to you)
Understand creative professional tools (you've used Figma, Notion, Linear, or similar)
Are fast and pragmatic (ship and iterate, don't over-engineer)
Have a design sensibility (you can make things look good without a designer holding your hand)
Technical Background We're Looking For : Expert-level React + TypeScript
Strong CSS / Tailwind skills
Experience with state management (Context, Zustand, or similar)
Comfortable with REST APIs and async data
Bonus : Experience with drag-and-drop , file uploads , or media-heavy interfaces
You're NOT a Fit If You : Need pixel-perfect Figma files for every screen
Think "it works" is the same as "it's done"
Haven't worked with real-time or async UI patterns
Need a PM to write user stories for everything
Don't care about the "feel" of software
What Makes This Exciting Build for creators : Filmmakers are power users — they'll notice and appreciate good UX
Real-time AI : Watch storyboards generate in real-time — it's genuinely cool
Product ownership : You're co-designing the product, not just implementing specs
Impact : Your UI is how filmmakers interact with the future of their craft
Learn creative tools : Understand what makes tools like Figma feel magical
What We Offer Competitive Compensation Market-rate salary for your experience level
Meaningful equity
You're employee #4-6, not #400
Real Impact, Immediately Your code ships to production in 4 weeks
Your work appears in real commercials for global brands
No 18-month roadmaps or features that never launch
Mission That Matters You're not building another SaaS dashboard
You're democratizing filmmaking — giving millions of people creative superpowers
This is the rare engineering job where art meets code
Founding Team Position Work directly with users (professional filmmakers)
Make product decisions, not just implement specs
No bureaucracy , no middle managers, no politics
Cutting-Edge Learning Production-scale generative AI (Runway, Veo, Kling at volume)
Creative systems design (how do you build software that feels like collaborating with a film crew?)
Prompt engineering as craft (the new fundamental skill)
