Role Summary :

The Client is seeking a dynamic

Head of HR

to lead the HR function and partner closely with business leaders to drive people strategy aligned with the Group’s growth and operational goals. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in manufacturing environments, be conceptually strong, and possess proven leadership and influencing capabilities. This role demands agility, business acumen, and a growth mindset to foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic HR Leadership :

Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the company’s business objectives and manufacturing excellence goals.

Manufacturing HR Expertise :

Drive HR initiatives specifically tailored for manufacturing operations, including labour relations, workforce planning, safety culture, and skill development.

Talent Acquisition & Development :

Build and lead programs for attracting, developing, and retaining talent critical to manufacturing and engineering functions.

Performance & Leadership Development :

Implement performance management systems and leadership development programs that enhance operational efficiency and cultivate future leaders.

Employee Engagement & Culture :

Foster a culture of collaboration, safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across all manufacturing sites.

Change Management & Agility :

Lead organizational change initiatives to support growth, innovation, and operational transformations.

Compliance & HR Operations :

Ensure adherence to labour laws, health & safety standards, and company policies across manufacturing locations.

Business Partnering :

Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team, using HR analytics and insights to drive informed decision-making.

Candidate Profile : Experience :

15-20 years in HR roles with substantial exposure to manufacturing industries. Experience in capital goods or engineering firms preferred. MBA in HR from a reputed institution

Education :

MBA in Human Resources from a reputed institution.

Skills & Competencies :

Strong conceptual understanding of HR frameworks and business integration

Proven leadership and influencing skills at senior management levels

Agile, growth-oriented mindset with the ability to drive change in a complex manufacturing environment

Hands-on experience with labour relations, industrial safety, and workforce planning in manufacturing setups

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
