Join our Security Sales Team (API Security)!

The security sales team develops and sells an advanced API security solution with behavioral analytics and visibility. Akamai protects customers from emerging threats that traditional WAF and API-Gateway solutions cannot address. The goal is to safeguard and enhance API-enabled businesses through a cloud-based security service.

Partner with the best

The API Security business operates as a Sales Pursuit Team with deep domain knowledge of top-notch customers' digital business, network infrastructure, security and application access requirements. You will collaborate with the wider Akamai team and channel partners to pursue and generate sales opportunities.

As an API Security Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for :

• Fostering long-term, trusted relationships by understanding customer needs and being an advocate for Akamai
• Demonstrating an adaptive, resourceful sales approach with undefined customer landscapes
• Becoming a subject matter expert in the enterprise security domain, touching on infrastructure, application, networking and security
• Generating demand for additional products and services within your assigned accounts to grow existing revenue
• Working with integrated cross-functional teams to ensure customer's requirements are successfully delivered
• Having the ability to build varied senior executive relationships across business.
