Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Configure, implement, and support SAP PP modules (Discrete, Process, or Repetitive Manufacturing).
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP functional solutions.
  • Manage Master Data (BOM, Routing, Work Centers, Production Versions, etc.).
  • Support production planning, MRP, capacity planning, and shop floor execution.
  • Integrate PP processes with MM, SD, QM, and FI / CO modules.
  • Handle incident management, system enhancements, and performance optimization.
  • Conduct user training, documentation, and UAT for end users.
  • Collaborate with developers for RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) objects.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices and system governance standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • 4 - 8 years of experience in SAP PP module configuration and support.
  • Hands-on experience with S / 4HANA PP preferred.
  • Solid understanding of production orders, MRP, and capacity planning.
  • Experience with integration points between PP and MM, SD, QM, FI / CO.
  • Exposure to Shop Floor Control, Demand Management, and Long-Term Planning.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and client-interfacing skills.
  • Experience in manufacturing industry projects is an added advantage.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • SAP Certification in Production Planning (PP) is a plus.
  • Experience in process improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • Exposure to MES or APO / IBP integration desirable.
