Job Title : Senior SAP FI Consultant – Lead

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP FI Consultant to lead SAP Finance (FI) implementations and support projects. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of hands-on SAP FI experience and strong integration knowledge with SAP CO (Controlling) . This is a lead position , requiring a mix of functional expertise, leadership capabilities, and strong business acumen.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP FI modules (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, etc.).
Manage end-to-end SAP FI project delivery – from requirement gathering and solution design to deployment and support.
Ensure seamless integration between FI and CO modules (including Cost Centers, Internal Orders, Profit Centers, and Product Costing).
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, propose solutions, and manage change requests.
Work closely with cross-functional SAP teams (MM, SD, PS, HR) to ensure overall solution integrity.
Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer to end-users and internal teams.
Provide leadership and mentorship to junior consultants in the team.
Support testing activities (unit, integration, UAT), cutover planning, and post-go-live support.
Identify areas for process improvement and provide innovative solutions aligned with SAP best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.

8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FI with at least 2 end-to-end implementations as a lead consultant.

Strong integration experience with SAP CO – Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), etc.

Deep understanding of business processes in Financial Accounting and Controlling.

Proven experience in leading SAP FI / CO projects and engaging with business stakeholders.

Solid understanding of SAP best practices, ASAP / Activate methodology, and project lifecycle.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Experience with S / 4HANA is highly desirable.

SAP FI Certification is a plus.
