Job description

EXPERIENCE SUMMARY :

  • Over 8+ years of work experience in IT in analysis, architecture, designing, developing, implementation, testing. support of Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence using ODI.
  • Good experience in gathering the business requirements and developing jobs / mappings using ODI tool to fetch data from heterogeneous source system like MYSQL DB, ORACLE DB, TEXT files, CSV files, XML files.
  • Experience in creating ODI jobs specially file related jobs (bxt, csv, xml) with complete automation LS starting from file receive to sending success / failure alert
  • Extensive DW knowledge using ODI during setting up master & work repository, data server, physical & logical schema, model, source, target, mapping, package, knowledge module, scenario, variable, sequence,

procedure, mapping components (set, split, distinct, join, filter, lookup, expression, aggregate), package tool components, metadata soe table, load plan, exception handling.

  • Good understanding on knowledge modules.
  • Loaded multiple targets using a single mapping in ODI 11g version without split option. Implemented SCD Type 1, SCD Type 2 and CDC.
  • Knowledge in creating source, target, look, expression, aggregate, package tool components.
  • Development and support of entire ODI landscape.
