POSITION : DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER - HUMAN RESOURCES
If you are passionate about creating the best workplace for employees to work in, have a thorough knowledge of statutory compliance (PF, ESI, gratuity, labor laws, etc.), and have the capability to recruit a workforce from diverse backgrounds, then we need to talk!!
We are looking for a flexible and versatile General Manager - Human Resources to head our HR and payroll processes department. You should be able to drive the best HR practices, handle employee complaints, stop people from leaving with creative solutions, and hire people with all kinds of skills.
The job involves interaction with clients, so excellent communication skills are mandatory. Having experience in facility management will be given preference.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management, development, and offboarding
Develop and implement robust recruitment strategies to attract top talent across various roles and levels
Leverage job portals such as LinkedIn, Naukri, and others to source and hire qualified candidates
Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to ensure cultural fit and alignment with organizational values
Manage and optimize the interview process, ensuring a positive candidate experience
Develop and maintain comprehensive employee records and personnel files
Craft and implement effective employee engagement and retention strategies
Design and implement employee development programs, including training, mentoring, and coaching initiatives
Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop workforce plans
Oversee and manage the payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely salary disbursement
Handle statutory contributions, such as Provident Fund (PF) and Employees' State Insurance (ESI), and ensure compliance
Manage the renewal of labor licenses and other statutory requirements
Develop and implement comprehensive standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to employment practices
Regularly review and analyze key performance metrics for the HR department, identifying areas for improvement
Conduct on-site employee grievance sessions and provide counseling and conflict resolution support
Explore and implement innovative strategies to address employee concerns and grievances
Prepare for and manage statutory audits at client locations, ensuring compliance and addressing any deficiencies
Stay updated with changes in labor laws and regulations, ensuring the organization's policies and practices align with legal requirements
Foster a positive and inclusive organizational culture that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as finance and legal, to ensure HR compliance and alignment with organizational goals
