Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manual Tester with a focus on credit card applications and related functionalities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing, particularly in the domain of financial services and credit card systems. You will be responsible for testing and ensuring the quality of credit card applications, including transaction processing, fraud detection, billing, and integration with external systems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manual Testing :
• Execute detailed manual test cases for credit card applications across various modules, such as application processing, payments, transactions, billing, and rewards.
• Identify defects and report them with clear, concise steps to reproduce.
• Perform regression, functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Validate transaction flows, payment gateways, and integration with external financial services.
• Test Planning and Design :
• Collaborate with the product and development teams to understand functional requirements and specifications.
• Create, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Defect Tracking and Reporting :
• Log and track defects in the defect management tool (e.G., JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Perform re-testing and ensure that the issues are resolved as per specifications.
• Participate in regular defect review meetings and provide detailed feedback on test progress and defect trends.
• Test Execution and Documentation :
• Ensure proper documentation of test cases, test results, and issues found during testing.
• Conduct exploratory testing to identify potential gaps in coverage and areas of improvement.
• Collaboration :
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure proper test coverage for all features and functionalities.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements based on testing experience.
