What You’ll Do
As an Energy Education Engineer, you’ll work at the intersection of technical training, AI simulation, and content development. Your work will directly shape how engineers, students, and professionals learn about modern energy systems.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on AI-powered drilling and energy simulator development.
- Design and test interactive learning experiences that combine simulation and course content.
- Research and develop educational materials across multiple energy sectors (oil & gas, geothermal, hydrogen, renewables, and subsurface systems).
- Simplify complex geoscience and engineering concepts into engaging, student-friendly modules.
- Support visual and written content creation — including video scripts, images, quizzes, and assignments.
- Work with subject-matter experts and product designers to enhance simulator functionality and realism.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a candidate who is passionate about energy systems, teaching, and innovative digital learning tools.
Must-Have Education
B.Tech or M.Tech in Geology, Geophysics, Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or other geoscience-related fields.
Preferred Background
Graduates from IITs or other premier institutes (especially IIT Bombay).Strong understanding of subsurface energy systems and geoscience fundamentals.Chemical engineers with a clear interest in energy or geological applications.Skills & Competencies
Strong research and analytical skills.Excellent written and verbal communication in English.Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools.Familiarity with AI tools (e.G., ChatGPT) or programming (Python, MATLAB, or similar).Curiosity to learn about new software, simulation systems, and energy technologies.Why Join GeoSkills.AI
