Job descriptionDesign and implement well architected solutions that allow K8 to scale at the infrastructure and Pod levels. Build and maintain configuration and set-up best practices and guidelines for K8 (Kubernetes). Configure alarms, triggers, and scale units to enable automatic horizontal scaling of nodes behind a load balancer or within a cluster. Able to come up with the solution that can overcome the shortcomings of the open source or commercial tool(s) used in the platform build. Build observability in the platform using open source or commercially available tools that allows full control over the K8 environment and services running on it. Build networking solutions within and outside the K8 environment for the smooth functioning of the services and applications in the SaaS product. Collaborate with subject matter experts in areas such as wide area networks, directory services, etc., to solve integration challenges. Have good experience with CICD, RESTful, gRPC APIs and SRE practices and apply in your work daily. Prepare and present the high level solutions, architecture diagrams , write requirements, specifications, and use white boarding to C-level executives, managers and engineers in the team. Bring strong analytical, diagnostic and problem solving skills with the ability to independently create solutions. Strongly encourage engineers to contribute to the open source community (Knowledge Sharing). Experience : Overall 15+ years of experience working in the field of Linux / Unix, AWS, GCP DevOps, Cloud, Containers and its echo system. Kubernetes (K8s) : 7+ years of hands-on working experience with Kubernetes and its components (control plane, data plane, containers - Docker), with deploying, managing and scaling on prem and in cloud. Service Mesh & Automation : 2+ years of experience with Istio, Consul, and automation using terraform / python, Helm charts. Observability : 3+ years of hands-on experience with setting up monitoring and Observability for Kubernetes. Networking & Storage : Strong networking and storage knowledge in cloud, on-prem and K8. Cloud Expertise : Strong knowledge in public clouds AWS / GCP / Azure. Tools : Experience with multi-node setup of ELK, GKE, Prometheus, Fluentbit, Kibana and Kafka, and API Gateways (Kong preferred). Architecture : Strong experience in event driven microservices architecture and Working with RESTful and gRPC APIs. CI / CD & SRE : Experience with Git-Ops continuous delivery tools and DevOps / SRE practices. Scripting : Strong experience in scripting (Python / Shell). Networking Security : Experience in networking, firewall, SSL certificates. Virtualization : 1+ years hands-on experience with Tanzu, VMWare Virtualization. Clustering : Experience in building distributed, multi-region kubernetes clusters. Security : Understanding of container security (image, pod, network). Troubleshooting : Experience with troubleshooting production systems.
Role Overview :
The Cloud Architect is a highly senior, hands-on Contract role requiring 15+ years of overall technical experience with a deep specialization in multi-cloud and Kubernetes ecosystems.
This Onsite (5 days) role located in Noida is focused on designing, building, and overseeing scalable SaaS solutions deployed across AWS, Azure, GCP public clouds, and VMWare private clouds.
The incumbent will be the technical authority for cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes architecture, observability, and implementing rigorous DevOps / SRE practices.
Job Summary :
We are seeking an expert Cloud Architect (15+ years) with extensive hands-on experience in Linux / Unix, Cloud, Containers, and Kubernetes (7+ years). The ideal candidate will design highly available, scalable, and elastic multi-cloud solutions, ensuring best practices for K8 configuration, scaling, and networking. Key responsibilities include implementing observability (ELK, Prometheus, Kafka), driving automation with Terraform / Python, utilizing service mesh technologies (Istio / Consul), and defining CI / CD / GitOps strategies within an event-driven microservices architecture. The role demands strong analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills to communicate solutions effectively to C-level executives and technical teams.

- Work collaboratively within integrated, cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive SaaS solutions across AWS, Azure, GCP public clouds and VMWare private clouds.
- Responsible for building and overseeing the cloud systems, including servers, storage, and network infrastructure.
- Architect highly scalable, available, and elastic solutions that implement industry best practices using core cloud services.
- Analyze new and existing public cloud services and create solutions that meet stakeholder requirements and standards.
