About the Role

This role is responsible for leading the training strategy and execution across the organization. It involves strengthening the learning culture, managing LMS operations, content creation, vendor partnerships, and facilitating talent development initiatives. The Training Lead will work closely with business leaders and store teams to ensure impactful learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement the annual L&D strategy and calendar aligned with business goals.

Partner with business leaders to identify skill gaps and training needs.

Design and standardize training content including SOPs, product knowledge, and process training.

Manage LMS backend operations : data upload, dashboard reporting, role administration, and feedback tracking.

Drive Train-the-Trainer programs and maintain a certified internal trainer pool.

Facilitate induction, compliance, functional, and behavioural training programs.

Promote digital learning and e-learning adoption across all levels.

Coordinate Pan-India training delivery and logistics with regional / store HR teams.

Manage vendor relationships including external trainers and tech partners.

Monitor training effectiveness and submit timely L&D reports to corporate.

Support talent development initiatives like UTTHAAN and RISING STAR.

Ensure adherence to organizational values and ethics in all training activities.

Qualifications

Graduate + Masters In English / Business Administration / Retail Management / Hotel Management

Certification from ISTD / ATD / Training is preferred

Preferred Skills

8–12 years of overall experience.

Minimum 6–8 years in training and L&D roles, preferably in retail or QSR / FMCG.

Mandatory : Experience in training facilitation and execution of training plans.
