An exciting opportunity has arisen at Control Union, Navi Mumbai, India for MANAGER – SALES (EDUCATION & TRAINING).
As the Manager – Sales for Education & Training business vertical you will lead our sales efforts in the Education and Training industry , focusing on promoting and selling high-impact training programs to corporate clients, educational institutions, and government bodies across India. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong network and proven sales success in the Indian education and training ecosystem.

Tasks and responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve training sales targets
- Align with various Government / funding agencies and get approvals for CU's training courses
- Align with 3rd parties for course curriculum development and resources such as trainers
- Identify and target potential clients through research, networking, and outreach efforts
- Leverage existing relationships in the Indian education and skilling ecosystem, including NSDC, Sector Skill Councils, and state-level training bodies.
- Conduct sales presentations and demonstrations of training programs to clients
- Represent the company at education fairs, training expos, and industry conferences.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations
- Build partnerships with educational institutions, EdTech companies, and corporate L&D teams.
- Collaborate with internal teams to customize training solutions based on client needs and industry trends.
- Collaborate with the training department in APAC to ensure alignment of sales efforts with program offerings
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market demand to inform sales strategies
- Prepare and deliver proposals and contracts to clients, negotiating terms and closures
- Analyze sales performance data and prepare reports for management
- Provide excellent customer service and support post-sale to ensure client satisfaction and retention
- In future, lead and mentor a team of sales representatives to enhance their skills and performance
Requirements
Graduate in a related fieldMinimum 3-5 years of proven sales experience in the Education, Training, or EdTech industry in India, preferably with exposure to corporate training, government-funded skilling programs, or technology-based / AI learning solutions. This to include experience in selling B2B training solutionsStrong understanding of various training programs and training methodologiesFamiliarity with Indian education policies, skilling initiatives (e.g., Skill India, PMKVY), and funding mechanisms would be advantageousExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clientsDemonstrated ability to develop strategic sales plans and achieve growth targetsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environmentWillingness to travel as needed for client meetings and presentationsOur Company
