Job Description

The Statistician Intern will support senior statisticians and research consultants in performing data analysis for academic, corporate, and technical research projects. This role involves assisting with data cleaning, performing basic to intermediate statistical tests, generating visualizations, and documenting statistical procedures for theses, dissertations, and research publications.

This internship is ideal for students or fresh graduates who want hands-on experience with real research datasets, international academic standards, and statistical tools used in high-impact research.

Assist in cleaning, organizing, and preparing datasets for analysis.

Perform descriptive statistics (mean, SD, IQR, frequency tables).

Conduct inferential statistics : t-tests, chi-square, ANOVA, correlation, regression, etc.

Support the team in running multivariate analyses (EFA, CFA, SEM) under supervision.

Help create charts, graphs, and analytical visualizations.

Prepare summary reports of results with interpretations.

Run analyses using SPSS, R, Python, or Excel (training will be provided if needed).

Maintain documentation of statistical steps for transparency and reproducibility.

Support research projects with data-driven insights.

Requirements

Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s / Master’s in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Psychology, or related fields.

Basic understanding of statistical methods and hypothesis testing.

Familiarity with any statistical tool (SPSS / R / Python / Excel).

Good analytical thinking and attention to detail.

Eagerness to learn advanced statistical techniques.

Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
