ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Terraform / Azure) , you’ll spearhead the modernization of Azure infrastructure by migrating from Jsonnet-based Terraform JSON to native Terraform HCL. You’ll design modular, enterprise-grade IaC solutions that enhance scalability, security, and maintainability across Azure environments. This role offers the opportunity to shape best practices, mentor engineers, and drive a key modernization initiative within a collaborative, cloud-focused setup.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Lead migration of Azure infrastructure from Jsonnet-based Terraform JSON to native HCL;
  • Design and deliver modular, reusable Terraform modules for enterprise-scale infrastructure;
  • Manage Terraform state and provider upgrades to maintain a scalable IaC stack;
  • Implement and optimize Azure services, including AKS, Networking, Storage, Key Vault, and PostgreSQL;
  • Modernize IaC, handle deprecated arguments, and improve CI / CD workflows;
  • Mentor team members and maintain clear documentation for remote collaboration.

MUST HAVES

  • 8+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure Engineering;
  • 5+ years hands-on Terraform (HCL) experience with AzureRM ;
  • Strong expertise in Azure services : AKS, Networking (VNet, NSG, Subnets), Storage, ACR, Key Vault, PostgreSQL;
  • Experience in large-scale IaC migration / refactoring projects;
  • Deep knowledge of Terraform state management and provider version upgrades;
  • Experience in designing reusable Terraform modules for enterprise-scale infra.
  • Upper-intermediate English Level.

    • NICE TO HAVES

  • Jsonnet or similar templating frameworks;
  • Terragrunt;
  • Azure security and governance best practices;
  • Experience in consulting / migration projects.
