Job Title : Senior Technical Trainer – Automation (Medical Devices)

Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Automation Trainer with deep technical expertise in automation systems, control technologies, and process validation used in medical device manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs for engineers, technicians, and operators to enhance their technical proficiency in automated equipment, PLC programming, robotics, vision systems, and cleanroom operations .
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training modules on automation systems, PLCs, robotics, sensors, motion control, and SCADA / HMI systems used in medical device manufacturing.
- Conduct hands-on sessions and workshops on equipment setup, calibration, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
- Train teams on GMP, GAMP5, validation protocols (IQ / OQ / PQ) , and compliance with FDA, ISO 13485 , and 21 CFR Part 11 standards.
- Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to identify training needs and create competency development plans.
- Prepare detailed training materials, SOPs, and technical documentation aligned with industry standards.
- Evaluate participants' performance through assessments and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) and technology transfer projects through skill enhancement and process training.
- Stay current with advancements in automation, robotics, AI integration, and Industry 4.0 trends in the medical devices domain.
Required Skills & Expertise :
Strong background in Automation & Control Systems — PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron), SCADA / HMI, and Robotics.Experience in Automated Assembly Lines, Packaging, and Cleanroom Automation .Knowledge of validation and documentation requirements specific to the medical device industry.Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO 13485 .Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.Ability to translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand training modules.Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and simulation tools (e.g., TIA Portal, RSLogix, etc.).Educational Qualification :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Instrumentation / Automation Engineering or equivalent.Additional certifications in Automation, PLC Programming, or Industrial Robotics are preferred.Skills Required
