Job descriptionProvide technical expertise throughout the sales cycle, including product demonstrations and workshops. Act as a liaison between customers and VicOne’s engineering / product teams to ensure alignment on technical requirements. Develop and deliver customized technical proposals and solutions. Support post-sales activities such as installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of VicOne’s solutions. Assist in creating technical sales materials including datasheets, case studies, and whitepapers. Participate in technical forums and panel discussions to build thought leadership. Work closely with product development to relay customer feedback and influence the product roadmap. Provide regular updates and performance reports to the sales head. Stay informed about competitive landscape, emerging technologies, and regulatory standards in automotive cybersecurity. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or a related field. 5–10 years of experience in sales, business development, or sales engineering, preferably in the automotive or cybersecurity industry. Strong understanding of automotive cybersecurity technologies and standards. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience in public speaking and participating in industry panels is a plus. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and collaboratively. Willingness to travel within India and the AMEA region as required.
Role Overview :
VicOne is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager to drive growth and support technical engagements in India’s automotive cybersecurity market. This hybrid role combines strategic business development with hands-on technical expertise to build strong customer relationships, deliver tailored solutions, and expand VicOne’s footprint across OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and key industry stakeholders.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in India’s automotive cybersecurity sector.
- Build and maintain relationships with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and strategic partners.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
- Create and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Represent VicOne at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote brand awareness.
