Job Title : SAP Controlling (SAP CO) Consultant

Reports to : SAP Project Manager / IT Head / CFO

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SAP Controlling (SAP CO) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial controlling processes and hands-on experience in configuring and supporting the SAP CO module. The SAP CO Consultant will be responsible for implementing, optimizing, and maintaining the Controlling module of our SAP ERP system to support key business processes in financial planning, reporting, and Responsibilities :

• Configure and customize the SAP CO module, including Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
• Work with Finance and Controlling teams to gather business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Design and implement cost accounting and reporting structures in alignment with company financial policies.
• Integrate CO with other SAP modules, particularly FI (Finance), MM (Materials Management), PP (Production Planning), and SD (Sales and Distribution).
• Perform end-to-end testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities, ensuring accurate data flow between FI and CO modules.
• Develop and maintain documentation for configuration, processes, and user training.
• Identify and resolve system issues, working with the IT team or SAP support where necessary.
• Participate in SAP upgrades, enhancements, and roll-outs.
• Train and support end-users and key business stakeholders on SAP CO Skills & Qualifications :
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an SAP CO Consultant or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Controlling sub-modules :
• Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
• Internal Orders (IO)
• Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
• Product Costing (PC)
• Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
• Experience with CO-FI integration and cross-module functionalities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills to interact with both technical teams and business users.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight Qualifications :
• SAP certification in SAP CO module.
• Exposure to S / 4HANA environment.
• Experience in global implementations or roll-outs.
• Understanding of financial reporting standards and cost accounting Conditions :
