Main Purpose of the Role :
The Area Business Manager is responsible for coordinating and executing activities related to identifying and analyzing business opportunities across domestic and international markets. The role focuses on driving business growth, achieving financial and marketing objectives, and supporting the successful execution of key commercial initiatives. The position also involves mentoring and guiding the business development team to ensure high performance and strategic alignment.
Key Development & Strategy :
- Oversee, coordinate, and mentor a business development team to achieve regional objectives.
- Evaluate and analyze market trends, business opportunities, and competitive activities across Gujarat.
- Formulate and support the execution of strategies aimed at business expansion and revenue growth.
- Lead the development and execution of key business projects within the region.
Proposal & Deal Management :
Support the planning, preparation, and execution of business proposals.Participate in negotiations and the successful closure of business deals.Provide strategic inputs and recommendations to senior management for decision-making.Team Leadership & Coordination :
Coordinate daily activities, set priorities, and ensure optimal workflow within the team.Mentor and coach team members to improve their performance and effectiveness.Ensure collaboration across cross-functional teams for smooth business operations.Role typically does not include direct budget ownership or hire / fire authority.
Reporting & Analysis :
Prepare reports, presentations, and insights on business development activities.Track KPIs and performance metrics to measure progress and ensure alignment with company goals.Higher qualifications will be an added Minimum 4 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or related fields.
Experience in the healthcare / medical device domain (Cordis or cardiovascular products) is preferred.Skills & Competencies :
