AGS Logistics Pvt Ltd, located in Dwarka, is an international freight forwarder in India with over two decades of experience in freight management, supply chain, project logistics, and customs brokerage. The company specialize's in verticals such as auto, fashion, paper, and industrial sectors. AGS Logistics works with a range of clients from large MNCs to Indian corporations and SMEs, servicing both domestic and global logistics needs.

Important Pointers for Candidates :

  • This is onsite role for local Delhi candidates , preferably South West Delhi
  • Prior experience in Customs brokerage must
  • Prior Experience in customs EDI software must

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Customs Broker EDI Executive in Dwarka. The Executive will be responsible for providing customer support and meeting internal compliances. Day-to-day tasks include checking documentation ,preparing check list ,addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a smooth customer service experience.

Skills Required

  • Good hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of Custom laws and Clearance procedures.
  • Should possess good knowledge of pre & post-shipment documentation, tariff & Air / Sea cargo Clearance Procedures.
  • Preperation of the checklist / bill of entry / shipping bill etc.
  • Manage all customs-related activities, including the filing and processing of customs documentation for imports, exports, and re-exports.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant customs regulations.
  • Coordinate with customs authorities to obtain necessary clearances and approvals.
  • Oversee the movement of goods, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Liaise with internal teams, such as port staff, and external agencies like warehousing, transporters etc to ensure the smooth flow of goods.
  • Provide expert advice on customs procedures and regulations to internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update records of customs transactions in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Handle any customs-related issues or disputes that may arise.

  • Ensure error free filing in EDI software
  • Guiding and instructing the team (including H-card holders) for clearance procedures and activities
  • Timely clearances of all shipments at the branch
  • Maintaining documentation, BOEs, and records
  • Perform and implement all custom clearance activities such as following up-coming Shipments, document transactions, and day-to-day related activities in accordance with the objectives, policies, and procedures.
  • Coordinating with forwarders, airline ,Shipping line ,transporter external agencies for planning.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in customs operations,
  • Strong understanding of import / export documentation and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools used for customs documentation and reporting.
