Your Role

As a Software Development Engineer in Test-I (Automation) , you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated testing frameworks, developing test strategies, and ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize test cases, conduct comprehensive testing, and drive continuous improvement of our testing and automation processes. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality automation solutions.

A Day in the Life

• Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and translate them into test strategies and plans.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks, tools, and test suites to ensure efficient and reliable software testing.
• Write and execute complex automation test cases, perform thorough regression testing, and analyze automation test results to identify and report defects.
• Collaborate with development teams to promote testability, provide input on architectural design, and implement testability features.
• Conduct performance, load, and stress testing to evaluate system performance and scalability.
• Identify areas for test process improvement, drive test automation initiatives, and implement best practices to enhance overall testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Investigate and troubleshoot complex technical issues, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with QA engineers to establish and enforce quality standards, processes, and guidelines throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members, assisting in their professional growth and development.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software testing and quality assurance
• Work on new technical solutions to improve the automation framework and increase test productivity.
