Role : Director - Generative AI

Location : Gurgaon

Roles & responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the strategic vision and roadmap for KGS AI initiatives focused on corporate functions
  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team driving AI / GenAI supported initiatives for KGS.
  • Provide strategic direction, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities to team members.
  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and secure AI solutions for the organization.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of org wide, complex projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Implement robust project management methodologies, including Agile and DevOps practices, to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Work closely with the Transformation leads for BU's, Support Functional heads, Business Owners to drive AI agenda
  • Delivery tangible outcomes through AI usage in the organization, Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness and efficiency and quantify the benefits accrued
  • Ensure compliance with internal KPMG risk management and legal requirements as well as relevant data privacy laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), implementing robust data security measures to protect sensitive information and mitigate risks.
  • Operate as an exemplar to constructively challenge business and functions to constantly improve operational capability and performance
  • Lead post-implementation reviews to gather feedback, optimize solutions, and ensure sustained value delivery. Create and deliver on communications plan which builds a deep and wide understanding of AI initiatives and their impact across the organization
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in AI to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and adaptability within the Transformation team.
  • Develop and train the wider Transformation and business / functions teams to identify use cases and deliver "low code / no code" / modular AI solutions.
  • Identify and grow Internal AI resource and evangelists, increasing the pool of colleagues with deployment capabilities in AI

Educational qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Mathematics and Computing engineering from a reputed engineering institute. A Master's degree or MBA is highly preferred
  • Advanced certifications in data science / machine learning / artificial intelligence desired
  • Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) and process improvement (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma) are a plus

    • Work experience :

  • Minimum of 14+ years of experience in e stablishing AI related strategy and solutions with hands on capability in defining the AI architecture, data engineering, data architecture or a related role within a professional services or technology-driven environment.
  • Extensive experience with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, Technical Architecture
  • Proven track record of formulating and executing AI / GenAI related projects in corporate or shared services functions such as HR, Finance, IT , Administration etc.
