Job Title : Data Analytics and MIS Specialist

Location : KOLKATA

Employment Type : Full-time

Reporting To : Project Director / Technical Team Leader

Educational Qualification : .

A Master’s degree (M.Tech / MCA / M.Sc. / MBA with specialization in IT or Analytics) is desirable .

Experience Requirements :

Minimum 10 years of professional experience in data management, analytics, and MIS development , preferably in government programs, water supply, rural development, or infrastructure projects .

Proven experience in handling large datasets , data cleaning , validation , and developing interactive dashboards for monitoring and reporting .

Strong proficiency in database management systems.

Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining MIS systems to support program monitoring, evaluation, and decision-making .

Ability to generate real-time analytical insights and data-driven reports to inform policy and operational decisions.

Experience in capacity building and training of field staff and officials on MIS reporting tools and analytical methods.

Tchnical Skills :

Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.

Strong knowledge of Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, macros) and data analysis tools (Python / R preferred).

Understanding of GIS-based data systems will be an added advantage.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.

Preferred Experience :

Prior experience in projects supported by Government departments , World Bank / ADB / donor agencies , or Public-Private Partnership (PPP) models.

Preference will be given to candidates having experience with Public Health Engineering (PHE) Departments , Rural Water Supply Departments of State Governments, or the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation (DDWS), Government of India .
