LEAD POWER BI

  • Key Responsibilities :
  • Report and Dashboard Development :
  • Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations based on business needs. Publish and Configure Refresh / Incremental Refresh on Power BI Service
  • Data Modeling :
  • Create and maintain efficient data models using Power BI best practices, ensuring optimized performance and scalability.
  • Data Integration :
  • Connect to various data sources such as On Premises SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, and cloud platforms to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data into Power BI.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders :
  • Work closely with business users to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective Power BI solutions.
  • Data Analysis :
  • Perform data analysis to provide insights and recommendations based on the reports and dashboards developed.
  • Power BI Governance :
  • Establish and enforce standards for report development, data access, and user permissions within Power BI.
  • Performance Tuning :
  • Optimize Power BI reports for speed and performance.
  • Required Qualifications :

Experience :

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Power BI development, report design, and data visualization.

    • Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including Complex DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), Calculation Group, Power Query, M-Language and data visualization techniques.
  • Strong experience with SQL and relational databases including custom stored procedures
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with other Microsoft technologies like Excel, SharePoint, and Azure is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills :
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Communication :
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Additional Tools :
  • Knowledge of complementary tools like SSRS, Tableau, or Python / R for advanced analytics. Tabular Editor, DAX studio
