Job Summary :
The Senior Travel Consultant – NRI Market will be responsible for managing and expanding travel services catering to Non-Resident Indian (NRI) clients. This includes designing customized travel itineraries, providing visa and documentation support, handling high-value bookings, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience that aligns with the preferences and expectations of international clients.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage end-to-end travel requirements for NRI clients (flights, hotels, tours, insurance, transport, etc.).Build strong relationships with existing and potential NRI customers through personalized service.Design tailor-made itineraries considering budget, preferences, and travel goals with help of Systems available at Flamingo.Coordinate with global suppliers, DMCs, airlines, and hotels for the best pricing and service delivery.Handle visa processing, documentation, and travel insurance support for clients.Provide expert advice on destinations, travel trends, and seasonal offers.Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.Manage high-value bookings and ensure service excellence under tight deadlines.Understand client Requirement, his / her Travel style and sell him package which is best for them.Resolve client issues and complaints promptly and professionally.Prepare reports and insights on NRI market performance, bookings, and revenue.Knowledge of saber usage will be considered as a plus point.Qualifications & Skills :
Bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.5+ years of experience in travel consulting, with at least 2 years handling NRI or international markets.Strong knowledge of global destinations, airlines, and travel systems (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (English fluency required;regional Indian languages a plus).
Proven ability to manage VIP or high-net-worth clients.Sales-driven mindset with a focus on relationship management.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Preferred :
Experience working with clients based in the UAE, UK, USA, Canada, or Singapore.Familiarity with digital travel platforms, CRM systems, and online booking tools.Knowledge of various destinations and know how to make various itineraries
