Assessment Phase :

• Physical site survey of each factory location
• Inventory of network devices (switches, access points, wireless devices, ISP links)
• Identification of services / applications using ISP links (users, cameras, IoT, production systems) via discussions with the stakeholders
• Determine bandwidth utilization of ISP links
• Review of switch / router / firewall configurations to establish routing and traffic flows
• Evaluation of centralized hub / firewall capacity to handle aggregated traffic
• Consultation with Factory IT staff, End-users, Third-party providers (ISPs, equipment vendors) to determine the setup which is dependent on the ISP links
• Review of existing physical and the logical design documents to plan for the migration
