Operations Engineer

Job descriptionNA Perform daily VDI administration, maintenance, and upgrades, including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations. Create and maintain VDI master images and desktop pools. Monitor performance, respond to event alerts, and take appropriate action. Extensive experience with Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) or Machine Creation Services (MCS) in a VDI environment. Manage Windows patching in a VDI environment. Implement new desktop systems according to documented plans and published change control processes. Networking experience, including Citrix Administration. Proficient in Windows Server (2012 / 2016 / 2019). PowerShell scripting. Configuring and managing Citrix Storefronts. Build, manage, and troubleshoot multiple large Active Directory environments. Experience with Citrix product upgrades and migration tasks, including hotfix management. Knowledge of Citrix Secure Gateway, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP concepts. Experience with Citrix printing. Hands-on experience with Public Cloud (Azure, Azure WVD, Citrix). Excellent understanding of Azure WVD and Azure Fundamentals. Good administration skills for both Azure and Citrix. Understanding of various VDI flavors (pooled, dedicated) and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of ITIL processes for managing requests, incidents, changes, and problems. Familiarity with FSLogix is an added advantage. AZ-140 : Configuring and Operating Windows Virtual Desktop on Microsoft Azure. AZ-900 : Microsoft Azure Fundamentals. Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Service Integration with Microsoft Azure (1Y0-150). Bachelor's degree. Exposure and working-level knowledge of interfacing with global delivery teams. Strong communication style and ability to work with customers and teams. Commitment to quality and strong service attitude. Willingness to work in a 24x7 model. Relevant work experience : 6 years.
