Job description

About the Role

Flyde Studio is looking for a React Native Developer who can translate thoughtful design into clean, performant mobile applications.

You’ll be working alongside a design-led team to deliver polished user experiences for both startups and established brands. This role requires a strong grasp of mobile development principles, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate closely with UI / UX designers, backend engineers, and project managers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native
  • Convert Figma designs into functional, responsive interfaces
  • Optimize application performance and responsiveness
  • Integrate APIs, third-party libraries, and native modules
  • Collaborate with backend and design teams to ensure seamless delivery
  • Conduct code reviews and write clean, reusable, well-documented code
  • Debug production issues and implement timely fixes
  • Participate in sprint planning and provide technical input during project scoping

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience with React Native
  • Solid understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Strong knowledge of React hooks, state management (Redux or Context), and component architecture
  • Experience with mobile-specific concerns such as gesture handling, navigation, and async storage
  • Familiarity with API integration, push notifications, and app publishing workflows (App Store / Play Store)
  • Version control proficiency (Git)

    • Preferred (Not Mandatory)

  • Experience working with Expo and custom native modules
  • Exposure to tools like Fastlane, Bitrise, Firebase, or OTA update systems
  • Background in working with design systems or component libraries
  • Comfortable collaborating with a fully remote team
